Mint: Professional Learning Series for Emerging Creatives

Professional learning at C-A-C, 2019
Saturdays 27 November – 11 December, 9am – 12pm
Join our professional learning series for young and emerging artists, arts workers and creatives.
Held over 3 sessions at Campbelltown Arts Centre, Mint: Professional Learning Series provides opportunities to network with peers and arts professionals while growing key skills and knowledge for working in the arts. Content includes grant writing or funding applications, business and finance in the arts, marketing and developing an online presence, introduction to curating and arts-writing, hanging and installing works for exhibition, as well as advice on education options and career pathways.
These sessions are led by acclaimed artists and arts professionals; Artist Marikit Santiago, Artist and Designer Feras Shaheen, Curator and Writer Con Gerakaris, C-A-C’s Design & Communications Officer and C-A-C Gallery Technicians as well as representative from Create NSW.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds and people with disability are encouraged to apply. This series is open to people who may have recently left school, are considering career pathways, looking for work, currently studying or working in the arts and creative industries.

COVID-19 | Proof of vaccination or exemption required upon entry 16 years+. Customers who are unwell or experiencing flu like symptoms are advised to stay at home. Workshops spaces are cleaned before and after each workshop. Hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes will be made available to the customer before, during and after each workshop. Participants from separate households are advised to adhere to social distancing.
