An intimate painting workshop like no other – join acclaimed artist, Luke Sciberras for The Local Landscape – a plein air  workshop.

Meet Luke Sciberras at Campbelltown Arts Centre for a personal tour of his survey exhibition, Side of the Sky. Luke will share personal insights into his extensive travels, highlighting his connection to Wedderburn, Hill End and the Central West region.

Following the tour, participants will be transported by bus to the picturesque Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan to enjoy a rare picnic style, hands-on creative workshop with the artist. Luke will instruct workshop participants in drawing and plein air painting, all while enjoying flavours from the Macarthur region with local cheese, honey and wine.

This bite sized experience is outdoors so participants can take advantage of the beautiful Macarthur landscape. Depending on weather, a hot beverage from the Gardens coffee van may not be enough to keep you warm so rug up, bring a jacket, hat and gloves if required.

All materials will be provided.

Limited tickets are available as this is an intimate workshop.

Cost: $195 

In the event of wet weather, the workshop will move to an indoor location.
