Imogen Jade x Jenny Kee Artist Intensive Day

Participants: Year 10-12 school students studying Visual Arts, Visual Design or Textiles. 

Experience an immersive journey into the world of art and design with emerging artist, Imogen Jade and fashion icon, Jenny Kee AO during our Artist Intensive Day. This exclusive event invites students in Years 10-12 to dive into creativity alongside the guidance of Jade, Kee and the C-A-C Education team. The day will provide a packed schedule inviting students to; 


Embark on a captivating journey through the ‘My brilliant sophisticated spontaneous scarf adventure and journey‘ exhibition at Campbelltown Arts Centre. Led by the C-A-C Education team, students will unravel the intricacies of Kee and Jade’s work and design and engage with interactive elements during a guided tour. 


Participate in an enlightening artist talk led by Jenny Kee and Imogen Jade. Delve into their collaborative process, gain insight into their artistic practices, and glean inspiration from their design expertise. Following the talk, students will have the opportunity to steer the conversation through a dynamic Q&A session. 


In a vibrant workshop filled with music and creative energy, students will channel the essence of Jenny Kee and Imogen Jade’s work to craft their own wearable artwork. From clothing to headwear, footwear to bags, students will adorn their chosen canvas with empowering affirmations, personal narratives, and expressive designs, resulting in a colourful manifestation of their unique style and story. 


– All pens, pens, paper, fabric drawing and painting materials will be provided.

– Students are required to bring a plain coloured item of clothing, scarf, headwear, footwear or bag to create their colourful affirmation artwork on. A blank square of calico will be provided to any students who do not bring their own wearable item to adorn on the day.

– Students may wish to bring their own clipboard and pen if they wish to take notes during the artist talk.
