Hands are often neglected in figurative drawing and yet hands remain fundamental to communication. This accessible life drawing workshop responds to Vernon Ah Kee’s new commissions and 2019 as the Year of Indiginenous Languages. During this workshop, hands take centre stage as artists Vernon Ah Kee and Sue Jo Wright discuss the cultural nuances of Auslan and teach participants how to capture gesture, expression and make a statement.
