To celebrate NAIDOC Week, the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) and Campbelltown Arts Centre have partnered to run a series of immersive arts and cultural workshops for their South West Sydney staff.
Participants will engage in practical workshops including weaving, ceramics and visual arts facilitated by local Aboriginal artists including Aunty Phyllis Stewart, Clarinda Vinta, Natalie Valiente and Merinda Funnell.
The program is designed to provide DCJ staff the opportunity to engage with and learn more about Aboriginal art, cultural, heritage and people through making and discussions.
Presented by Department of Communities and Justice | South Western Sydney District Commissioning and Planning Team in partnership with Campbelltown Arts Centre.
