Creative Careers Expo 2024

HALF DAY SESSIONS:

9.00am – 12:30pm
11.00am – 2:30pm

Campbelltown Art Centre’s annual Creative Careers Expo for high school students and emerging creatives offers a packed program of talks with artists and creative professionals supporting arts learning and post-school pathways, alongside stalls, live music, and breakout workshops from the C-A-C team, artists, leading tertiary institutions, and organisations including;
The National Art School (NAS), Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE), JMC Academy, TAFE NSW, The Australian Catholic University (ACU), National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), Sydney Opera House, University of New South Wales (UNSW), Western Sydney University (WSU), Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Eckersley’s Macarthur. 
 
This is a free event for school age young people and job seekers.

Schools have the option of attending the full day program or the half day program. 

PROGRAM: 

9.00am – 9:15am Registrations open for Panel 1

9:30am First panel discussion commences (1hr)

10.00am – Stalls open.

10:30am – 12:30pm – Open schedule – students can participate in a series of drop-in workshops, visit Tertiary stalls, listen to a rotation of gallery talks from Tertiary Institutions

11:30am – Registrations open for Panel 2

11:45am – 12:45pm – Second panel discussion commences (1hr)

1:10pm – 1:30pm – Live performance in the Amphitheatre

1:30pm – 2:30pm – Open schedule – students can participate in a series of drop-in workshops, visit Tertiary stalls and chat to members of the C-A-C team in a rotation of Speed Meet chats.

2:30pm – Event concludes.
