29 September – 2 October 2020
NAISDA and Campbelltown Arts Centre have adapted our annual Burra Bamal program in 2020, to continue to nurture professional dance pathways and cultural knowledge for local young people.
Free contemporary Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance workshops are available for a range of ages during the spring school holidays. Workshops will be led by dancers and NAISDA Dance College graduates, Natasha Rogers and Johnny Dixon.
The workshops use Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance as a foundation and builds skills and confidence in contemporary dance. The Burra Bamal project is particularly for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students considering future education in dance.
This is a free program, strictly limited places. Please follow the links below to register online.
