San-ju さんじゅう | A Japanese Garden Event

During the 2018 Spring Holidays, for one day only, Campbelltown Arts Centre will be hosting a special family event in the Japanese Gardens. The garden will be overflowing with free workshops and performances celebrating Campbelltown’s sister city, Koshigaya, who generously donated the gardens in 1986. This free family event is set to include: origami, kirigami, kimono dress ups, games and a paper plane throwing contest. The event will also launch and conclude with Taiko drumming and traditional dance performances.


11.30am – 12.00pm: Formalities & Launch
12.00pm – 3pm: Workshops
3.00pm – 3.30pm: Paper Plane Throwing Competition
3.30pm – 4pm: Closing Performances


This is a free event.
