Bangarra Ensemble - Macq, OUR land people stories. Photo by Wendell Teodoro

Due to the inclement weather forecast this weekend across both setup and the performance of Bangarra Dance Theatre’s Macq, we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the event scheduled at Campbelltown Arts Centre on Saturday 3 February.

We look forward to being able to share details of the rescheduled date in the near future. Please keep an eye on our Facebook page and website for more information.

Thank you to everyone who shared in our excitement about this incredible performance and we look forward to welcoming Bangarra back to Campbelltown later this year.

Join us for a FREE evening of dance and community spirit at Campbelltown Arts Centre, featuring a very special performance of Bangarra Dance Theatre’s Macq and a free community barbeque before the performance. This explosive dance piece by Bangarra dancer Jasmin Sheppard explores a historical chapter that devastated the Dharawal people of Appin in 1816, under the direction of Governor Macquarie. Bangarra will perform this passionate and political work for the south-west Sydney community, returning this powerful story to the Country that inspired it.

This is a free event.
