Saturday 24 November | 4pm – 9pm
For the first time, Campbelltown Arts Centre presents a new art market to showcase Western Sydney and the Macarthur region’s diverse community of artists and makers.
Handpicked invites everyone to experience a unique range of stalls featuring a bespoke offering of artwork, ceramics, jewellery, textiles, woven pieces, leather goods, living sculptures and more. Handpicked provides an alternate Christmas shopping destination and is an afternoon out for the whole family to find a gift or self-gift that supports local artists and makers.
A series of workshops for children and adults will be running throughout the afternoon including drawing, fashion and Japanese craft. For the foodies, a selection of stalls will be serving up dinner and dessert including local favourite Burger Frank, ever popular Gozleme and Pepitas homemade vegan, gluten free ice cream.
Handpicked coincides with the 56th Fisher’s Ghost Art Award exhibition. The gallery will extend opening hours during the market until 9pm and all works within the exhibition are available to purchase.
