Join Sheer Fantasy Curator, David Capra and Campbelltown Arts Centre’s Director, Michael Dagostino for a fantastical curator’s talk.
Starting off with an exhibition tour guided by David Capra followed by a picnic in the gallery inspired by Sheer Fantasy where there will be a discussion on the role of the fantastical and how it plays with our conscious over tea, coffee and cake.
After the discussion between David Capra and Michael Dagostino, William Wegman’s iconic works featuring Weimaraners exhibited in Sheer Fantasy will be brought to life by a costumed parade of ten award winning dogs from the Ashlaren Kennel presented by the Weimaraner Club of NSW. You’ll also get to meet and pat the dogs including a six month old puppy.
Tour guided by David Capra starts from 2pm. This talk will be Auslan interpreted.

Closing Performances | Renny Kodgers Hello Stranger

Every half hour 10.30am – 3.30pm
Hitch a ride and shoot the breeze with performance artist, Mark Shorter in his role of Renny Kodgers, the consummate American entertainer. During these free performances, participants will sit with Renny Kodgers inside the cabin of a truck installed in the galleries and be led on a conversational journey that ponders the space of “The Road”.
